I work with Jaroslav Korcak since the beginning of my softball career. Thanks to his experience and extensive knowledge in pitching I had a chance to represent Czech Republic in European and World Championships. In the last 4 years I pitch in pro leagues abroad so our communication is mainly through online tools. Coach Jaroslav analyzes my games and creates training plans. The plans focus on many aspects of pitching as well as cleaning up mechanics. I feel really lucky to be able to work with him and I value our relationship highly.

I’ve been with Jaroslav Korcak throughout the entire time I’ve been part of Czech Republic national selections. Together we work on developing training plans as well as improving pitching mechanics. We use video analysis of games and my motion on every occasion. Online communication is the key because we don’t see each other on the weekly basis but only at national team camps. I appreciate Jaroslav’s proffesional but friendly approach, knowing he will listen to my thoughts and together we will keep on finding solutions.

I come from a city of Parana in Argentina where I’m part of my home club team Patronato and men’s national team. In 2019 we became World Champions at the WC in Prague. I learned to use video in my preparation when I played 2 seasons in minor league system of Tampa Bay Rays and till this day video analysis is part of my daily routine. It’s a lot simpler to improve on the mechanical side of things when I can see how my body’s moving and I can get a feedback. Jaroslav was my coach during the 2016 season when I played in the Czech Republic and we stayed in contact after that to consult on my hitting mechanics.

Jaroslav Korcak

Curently I work as a head coach for the Czech Republic men’s national team and at the club level at Zraloci Ledenice, 2019 and 2021 Czech national champions. I was part of the 2012, 2014, 2018 and 2021 European Champions teams for the Czech Republic. A huge accomplishment came in February 2020 with the bronze medal from the World Championship U18. I specialize in hitting and pitching. During my career I had a chance to work with many great players and would like to pass my experience in softball skills development. Czech blog 7smen.cz was founded in 2013 and seveninnings.com is a successor of the original project. Seveninnings.com focuses on online video coaching of softball swing and pitch motions. In the summer months we run camps for girls and boys.
